This week, we ran an event at Thetford Guildhall focused on the Little Ouse and Thet river catchment — bringing together 14 stakeholders with a common interest in the future of our rivers.
We used a Shared Objective Exercise to identify the top five priorities from each participating organisation, then paired stakeholders to uncover common ground and identify joint projects into which it would be worthwhile investing time, energy and resources. The energy in the room was brilliant — practical, constructive, and committed.
We wrapped up by highlighting the outcomes with universal support — the first step in what will become a living catchment plan for these important areas.
Big thanks to Becky Carter from Anglian Water for supporting the session — and to all those who showed up ready to collaborate and freely donated their ideas.
